Three
months ago somebody prayed over me and He saw a picture of me. It was kind
of weird to him because God doesn’t show him things very often. In the
picture he saw me being a bridge for kids in the middle of a storm; I was the
bridge for them to get to the other side, to Jesus. It was good to me, but I
just forgot about it, till the day I started my ministry with kids in Padre las
casas, just then I realized God was working on that.

Last month
I had the opportunity to spend three weeks in Padre las casas, a little
town in Azua, ministering and also helping a
girls’ team from the world race that was working for Compassion Intl. I was so
blessed to see God through kids. Jesus visited us through them.

I got to share with two little troublemakers.
They weren’t sponsored in Compassion but we met them at the park. I met
Robinson and Javier and they stole my heart with their big smile and a great
and loud laugh. Two kids hungry for Love and also for food. Being around them
made my life happier. They are in need, they are hungry. Maybe we couldn’t help
them with material things, but we could share the best gift, an everlasting
one, the Love of Jesus through us.

The people did not want us to allow them into the apartment we were
staying. Javier and Robinson (also called Tulile) are known in the town for
being rebels, misbehaviored and robbers as the people say. I think
they will become what they hear people saying about them. However, while
spending time with them I came to realize that they are good kids, they just
need attention and Love.

What if I
do what the rest of the people do? What if I call them the same way they call
them?

What if I
treat them as they do?

Am I loving
them as Jesus loves me?

Sometimes we needed time as a team, so we couldn’t allow them into the
apartment, but they started knocking at the door several times, making noises,
throwing things to the windows, sometimes they got over my nerves. They just
wanted to be with us, with someone who showed them LOVE we had to forgive
them because Jesus forgives us all the time.

And whoever
welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me. Mathew 18: 5

Let the
little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven
belongs to such as these. Mathew 19:14

I Love them because Jesus loved me first
even I was a sinner; even when I am not perfect at all. I see God
in them. Love can change lives. God is love and he wants us to love everyone,
no matter what.

We have to be
the difference in this world. If others hate, we have to love; If others judge, we have to love people as they are; If others love to be served, we have to
serve.

If we do
not live as Jesus did, we are not worthy to be called children of God.

We are the salt
of the earth, but if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty
again? It is no
longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled by men, you are
the light of the world .A city on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people
light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it
gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light SHINE
before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your father in heaven.

Mathew 5:
13-16

Be different. Be Salt and light. Love everyone. Be like God.
